On September 20, 2025, we will be donning our capes, clipping on our utility belts, and joining in the worldwide celebrations for Batman™ Day!
On September 20, 2025, we will be donning our capes, clipping on our utility belts, and joining in the worldwide celebrations for Batman™ Day!
Batman Day is an opportunity for fans of the Caped Crusader™ to recap the most exciting moments of the last 75 years of Batman – and to keep a pointed ear out for rumors about future goings on in GOTHAM CITY™.
In other words, it’s the day we deserve AND the day we need right now.
And, of course, we have more than a few ideas as to how you and your family can add a touch of LEGO® magic to your Batman party celebrations this year!
Some people just want to watch the world build…
There’s no quicker way to get your recommended daily dose of Batman than by diving into a LEGO Batman Day build.
Our selection of LEGO Batman sets are already wider than The Joker’s smile, and growing faster than the Batmobile™ on a midnight chase!
You only need one set to kickstart your LEGO Batman Day activities. But be warned: if you’re part of a family of Batman fans, you might find that some members prefer working alone and don’t need a Robin™ by their side.
Not to worry. We’ve got sets for all ages to get stuck into, with our 18+ sets providing you adults with a dosage of nostalgia that’ll see you all the way through to next year’s LEGO Batman Day celebrations.
For our youngest bats, sets like Batman & Batmobile™ vs. Mr. Freeze™ provide all the action you’d ever need, in a construction experience that’s fast, fun, and helps them develop their building skills!
It’ll help develop them so much, perhaps, that one day they’ll be able to take on more complex sets for kids… Yes, we’re looking at you, LEGO DC Batman: Batman Forever™ Batmobile…
For maximum levels of immersion, you’ll want to build with the music from your favorite Batman movie in the background. Bonus points if you can build it on a rainy night in Gotham.
The ONLY rule we insist on is that every builder adopts deep, gravelly, raspy, intense voices in the style of the Dark Knight. Your vocal chords won’t thank you for it in the morning, but you’ll sound awesome for Batman Day – and that’s what really matters.
Can you even celebrate Batman Day without watching the movies? Perhaps with a 12-hour read-a-thon of your favorite comics.
For the rest of us, we can kick off movie (k)night with the widely-accepted best Batman movie of all time (citation needed): THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE.
Join the impossibly impressive crime-fighting aficionado in his brickiest-ever battle with The Joker™ and his cronies. Will Gotham be destroyed? Possibly. But at least in this version of Gotham there are probably literal building instructions on how to put it back together.
Well, it depends on your geographical location, but in certain countries you can find it on Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Google Play... You know, all the big hitters.
Batman Day has grown into a worldwide celebration since it was first organised in 2014. There may very well even be a pop-up event near you! Search online to see if you can join any events run by local Batman fans and help spread the love… or at least, the deep, dark mystery… of everyone’s favorite Super Hero (sorry, Superman™ fans…)
Mark your calendars for 2026! The countdown to becoming Gotham’s ultimate protector begins now...
Build the legacy of the Dark Knight and protect GOTHAM CITY in the highly-anticipated video game: LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
It’s the ultimate LEGO Batman experience, as you face the most notorious Batman Super-Villains, reliving their most iconic moments with the trademark LEGO humor you know and love.
You won’t be able to do it alone in the game – so it’s lucky you’ve got the help of Robin, Nightwing™, Batgirl™ and Jim Gordon as you work hard to save GOTHAM CITY.
And if that’s still not enough help, no problem! You can just get your Batman-loving friends and family to play the game in couch co-op mode!
When you’re not speeding through the open world using your grappling and gliding skills, the game even gives you the chance to customize the Batcave™ (which is where you’ll store all the Batmobiles and Batcycles™ you collect).
Okay. Breathe. That’s the good news. Want the not-so-good news?
The game comes out in 2026. Which, for the eagle-eyed among you, comes after Batman Day 2025.
So, if you want to game to celebrate Batman Day 2025, you’ll have to make do with our selection of older LEGO Batman video games, including the one that started it all – LEGO Batman: The Videogame.
But we know how you’ll be celebrating Batman Day from 2026 onwards, right?
The platforms are PlayStation® 5, XBOX series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (Steam + Epic Games Store).
