From the detailed front wheel drive, drive shaft and steering wheel to the sliding door, rear tailgate and pop up roof. However, the rock and roll bed and the kitchen were my favourite parts of the kit! The only gripe is the tailgate is a bit flimsy and when I inserted the pop up roof, it fell apart and was very fiddly to put back together. However, after some patience, it’s all good again. I really enjoyed this build and have already purchased the VW Beetle and will be looking to get the T1 Camper Van. Keep going with the VW T series please Lego!Play Experience4.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?55Volkswagen T2 Camper Van
- August 23rd, 2021Average rating3out of 5 stars3.0Needs better quality control of design issueI would recommend this to a friend!I am a big fan of the Creator Export line and when I saw this released I ordered right away. The color is awesome and I was excited to get towards the end. Upon completion the roof has a gap up front and could not figure what the issue was. I reviewed the instructions in detail and even rebuilt bag #10 and #11 and for the life of me, can get the roof to sit flush. So my excitement to finish resulted in a bit of frustration and my OCD is getting the better of me. I even took off the canopy cloth to see if that was causing it and still has a gap Only option is to display with roof open.Play Experience2.0Value for Money2.0Was this helpful?35Volkswagen T2 Camper Van
- September 24th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Fun build, but need to be fastidiousI would recommend this to a friend! This is a great vehicle build. I really love the sets that have clever details and are actually a little challenging, and the Camper Van fits the bill. I did see others having issues, but with a little tucking and slight push, my camper top shuts flat. I am less happy about the rather flimsy front end assembly, and for that reason I gave the playability 4-star's. I did add a slight mod to the top to allow for a roof rack for the surfboard and extra support for the chairs!Play Experience4.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?55Volkswagen T2 Camper Van
- September 21st, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Amazing Set and ExperienceI would recommend this to a friend! My wife gave me this set for our anniversary and I was very happy with it. I also have the first Lego Van model and this one was a must have. The full experience was amazing, even though the reviews are not all good, averaging 3 stars, I loved the set. I can understand that building the roof can be challenging for some less experienced builders - the whole mechanism could be simplified. It still works perfectly for me. I also like the steering mechanism. However, it takes some space from the driver and passenger. This was a fun build from bag 1 to 11!Play Experience4.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?55Volkswagen T2 Camper Van
