Opening of Katowice LEGO Store

    The LEGO® Group officially opened the doors of its newest store in Katowice in Poland last Thursday. Located in Galeria Katowicka, the 372-square-meter LEGO store is a place where visitors will be able to explore, create and play under the guidance of professional advisors - bricks enthusiasts - as well as enjoy exclusive offers and participate in special events for builders.

    Silesian heritage portrayed on special mural - the new LEGO store in Katowice will offer several interactive attractions, including a Pick a Brick wall and a Minifigure Building Tower. The LEGO Group made sure to refer to the culture and long tradition of mining in Silesia through a specially designed mural on the store's exterior window display. The painting is accompanied by 3D figures of miners, a ceremonially dressed foreman and saxophone player, as well as the iconic Katowice beboks.

    The new LEGO store brings the total number of stores in Poland to 7 (after Warsaw, Lodz, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan) and to more than 1,000 worldwide, demonstrating the LEGO Group's commitment to expanding its stationary sales channel and providing exciting experiences for its customers. I am happy to share that GREAT KATOWICE LEGO STORE TEAM broke the record of CS for 1 day, they achieved better results than average results during 1,5 week in Polish LBR.
    As always with store openings in Poland the SoMe communication generated big engagement, organic reach and brought new followers (apr 200) to official LEGO Poland IG profile.
    The Instagram post is the 5th most engaging one this year (almost 3300 interactions) and generated 46k views. On Facebook we reached over 42k fans and generated 7487 interactions. Apart from the excitement about the new store being open the ever-present question "When store in Kraków?" was asked numerous times 😊
