I have quite a few of these tools from different sets in my collection. They are truly amazing they help me build quicker by easily helping correct mistakes. They are definitely worth the price but I would only buy one separately if you could choose the colour. As they are all basic orange all except one that I got with the 1989 lego batmobile set (amazing btw) which is a turquoise blue and I found it rather fetching and a brake from the basic colour. I hope lego decides to sell these one day with custom colours because then I'd definitely be buying them separately to have a nice colourful collection.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?

The Brick Separator does exactly what it's meant to do, it separates bricks! You can separate bricks from the top or underneath at one end whilst the other end is useful when it's not quite possible to separate them otherwise. No more teeth marks, broken pieces or injuries, this is easy to use for any age and should be an essential tool for all fans of Lego, particularly those who like to take their creations apart often. As others have said, these are available in some sets, so rather than purchase it directly, I'd buy it with one of them (that's what I did - I stumbled on to this little tool and was pleasantly surprised at how efficient it is)Play Experience3.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?

Do Not Buy As Stand Alone

Vast improvement on the old one that came out when I was a kid. And I love how it works with Technic type pieces as well. But not worth the money to buy one. They are coming packaged with so many sets at the moment you're better off just getting one that way. I ended up with so many I was giving them away. In short get your hands on one, but just get a cool set that comes with it already. This is great for getting lots of the hard pieces off. It can't wreck all different typs though, so you will need to wreck some hard pieces still. It is sturdy, and i have seen them in different colors in the past. I always like to have oone handy while wrecking, or playing. This is a great lego tool to have. The value for money is fair, and it allows you to have great play expereince! It is a must have for seroius lego fans or just people that build,wreck,build,wreck alot every day! Thanks for reading my review! Note to lego: please make a wookie or ewok base.
