Average rating2out of 5 stars2.0What happened to the bricks?
I have to agree with the other review here. The first thing I noticed about a lot of these new City sets is a real lack of bricks. This set looks fun and has some fun designs with it but.. how much more can I really build from what get with this? The old City sets had so many bricks I could tear the set down.. make a small house.. a garage shop.. etc to make a small city but these new sets.. this.. the Fire station.. the Police station.. I could barely do much with making near the ideas I did with those. I also dislike the yellow neon on the Ambulance and its use on the Fire station too, that too limits what else I can use the piece in.Play Experience2.0Building Experience1.0Value for Money2.0Was this helpful?

Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0A good set with a great design philosophy
I would recommend this to a friend!
So, I disagree with the low scoring reviews. This hospital is one of the better sets this year. Let me first start off by saying that the fact there is a new road plate included and that compatibility is encouraged is excellent. It is nice to see LEGO pushing the new system and providing excellent sets that fit it. Let's talk about parts and design. Yes, there are fewer parts STRUCTURALLY than your older hospital sets but that is because the newer parts are able to fill the gap of all the older smaller parts, leaving room for more detail such as the children's sector and various wards while keeping the price the same. There are tons of play features in this set, from the XRAY machine to the ambulance and there are some great figures in this set too. It is well worth the price and it will fit great in my city, as it will yours.Play Experience5.0Building Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?

Average rating2out of 5 stars2.0City sets getting smaller and smaller
I remember when I received my first hospital set back in the early 2000s. It was awesome with lots and lots of bricks. Compared to previous versions the new city sets continue to disappoint. The numbers of bricks keep decreasing, along with playability and joy. I don't understand why LEGO, after becoming a worldwide brand, dumb down their products like this. Greed does not help you LEGO! This way LEGO lets fans down.Play Experience4.0Building Experience3.0Value for Money2.0Was this helpful?

Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0The Best City Set
I would recommend this to a friend!
I am usually not a fan of Lego City as it is mostly geared towards a younger audience. However, when this set was revealed it immediately caught my eye. Sure the price is a bit steep, but the new pieces/prints more than make up for it. Some of the standouts include the new coiled hair piece, the afro in yellow, and the uses of the new vibrant yellow color. This set is easily one of the best City sets and even looks good next to my modulars.Building Experience4.0Value for Money3.0Was this helpful?
