How to find special LEGO® pieces

Over the years, we’ve invented thousands of different LEGO® pieces and we’re still creating more! With so many different types of pieces available, finding one specific piece can be a bit tricky. Here are some tips to help:      

Search by keyword (English only)

When you’re looking for pieces on Pick a Brick, simply type what you’re looking for into the keyword search field. For example, search for ‘wheel’ to find all of our different wheel pieces. This works for most pieces, except licensed ones. (Right now, searching by keywords is limited to English. We’re exploring ways to improve and expand language options soon.)    

Search by piece number

Every LEGO piece has a unique number. You’ll find piece numbers listed at the back of the building instructions of each set. If you type in the number of the piece in the Pick a Brick search field, you should find the piece right away.  

Need help finding the current version of a piece?

Sometimes piece numbers change over time. If you have an older set and the piece number isn't showing results, the piece may have a different number now.
