- January 6th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Super fun set!Theta05 |I would recommend this to a friend! My daughter had been building Legos since she was 4 years old. She had so much fun building this. It took her about 1.5 hour to build. The details on this set is great. She particularly like the game room since she loves to play video games and there is a cool video game controller and tv. Now she wanted to get the other sets that comes with it so she can build the city. Great set!Play ExperienceAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Value for MoneyAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Was this helpful?55Family House
- January 7th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0So Much Fun!I would recommend this to a friend! My children LOVE playing with Legos. They literally wake up and go straight to Legos. This family house pack was the PERFECT addition for them. They loved all the intricate details that came with it. There was a gaming system, laundry machines, and they got a kick out of the dog poop. I would highly recommend this set to anyone and look forward to expansion sets like this one.Play ExperienceAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Value for MoneyAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Was this helpful?55Family House
- January 21st, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Simple to build but reach in featuresrebeliaGamer | 25-34I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: DaughterI bought it for my daughter. It looks great, it is easy to assemble, it fits on the 32x32 baseplate so it is easy to move it around, it creates a lot of play opportunities. There is a small garden, a kitchen, a grill, a console, a bathroom, hokey accessories, a dog with a small poop, a guitar, a paint brush, 3 rooms, a car, a charging station... this is a great value for a kid. The only thing I do not like is a car, the roof is a bit hard to assemble for a kid. Overall it is a great set for newcomers.Play ExperienceAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Level of DifficultyAverage rating2out of 5 stars2.0Value for MoneyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Building Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Family House
- January 2nd, 2021Average rating2out of 5 stars2.0Hindered Play Value, Cost Doesn't Add UpRabidCynic | 35-44I wrote in another review that the new City sets continue to disappointing trend of the recent City Square -- not enough substance for the cost and it continues here but not as bad as the other two main sets recently released. This concept on this build is fun and had a lot of promise but this is barely a third of a house for $79.95 CDN. I'd expect at least 500 bricks for $80 but all we get is 388; that's poor value. This is advertised as a house but it's probably about a quarter and the rooms inside are very, very narrow which significantly hinders the play value for kids like my 8-year-old son, and two daughters (10 and 5). There are so many cool but wasted features inside the house -- you mostly have to play around it on the outside. When my kids build their own houses, they always build full houses with complete rooms and furnishings but will only build up the walls halfway. That is the same way my sister and I did it as kids when we played with our bricks. Lego is missing the boat here when skimping on the builds by cutting off rooms -- that's what the kids need/want and it's the walls and roofs that are less important even if it's less aesthetically pleasing to AFOLs. I get that Lego is trying to appease kids and the adult collectors but the City sets are starting to fail at both.Play ExperienceAverage rating2out of 5 stars2.0Level of DifficultyAverage rating2out of 5 stars2.0Value for MoneyAverage rating2out of 5 stars2.0Building Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?25Family House
