The LEGO Group’s official statement on Dr. Eggman’s recent takeover

The LEGO Group would like to formally apologize for any distress caused by the recent hacking of our employees’ free will via mind control. We have identified the culprit as one Doctor Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik.

The LEGO Group does not condone the language published on this page during the hacking, referring to Sonic the Hedgehog™ as “pathetic” and “insufferable”. The LEGO Group further does NOT consider blue to be a “strange” color for hedgehogs. The LEGO Group has apologized directly to Sonic.
