I was thrilled to see not only my eight year old son Lego enthusiast working on this set, but also my teen daughter. They sat at the table and meticulously put this set together. My son absolutely Ioves it. And the fact that it was a dinosaur set was awesome, he’s really into them right now. The pieces are packaged in separate groups and the instructions are clear and very easy for a child to do on their own, younger kids would probably need some help. There’s such a big age difference between my daughter and my son, and to see them with their heads bent in concentration and working together really warmed my heart. I personally love LEGO’s and my first choice for my kids in toys is legos that’s why my 3 boys are big fan of LEGO’s most of time they play with them my 7 year old son always try to make something different with LEGO’S .Jurassic world Baryonyx Dinosaur Boat Escape 308 piece set is wonderful The size is perfect and age was appropriate and it’s provided hours of fun.some pieces are very small but if your kids like LEGO’s and Jurassic world they gonna love this set.and of course quality is very good .I will definitely recommend this set .Play Experience5.0Building Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?

Whether you’ll be happy with this set depends on what you want from it. I had a Lego boat as a kid that came in three parts which clipped together… and sank in the bath. This is a single piece, lightweight hull with a modest build on top… and it floats. My son was relieved that I didn’t spend all day building it for him (he’s 4) and then played in the bath with it until the water temperature dropped below freezing. It’s a good buy if you are looking for something at the ‘toy to play with’ end of the spectrum. This was a super fun set. The bottom of the boat is all 1 piece, so it comes together really quickly. All of the mini figs and dinosaurs are super cute, and my son is very excited to have a LEGO boat that he is allowed to take into the bathtub. It floats really well, and my son was pleased to find it can take even more mini figs on it than the set comes with and still float. He also found that the cage to contain the dinosaur to be a little tricky, since getting the dinosaur's feet don't attach super well to the base of the boat, and he falls over.
