Looks unfinished and lazyFor the first lego city school, this set is unfortunately poorly designed. The school itself looks unfinished, missing a right second story wall and a roof. It wouldn’t have taken much to include this, and a few more pieces would have made the price more reasonable too. I would have loved to have seen something a bit bigger as well. Multiple classrooms, an office area for staff, etc. As is I can’t recommend this product. I’m going to have to buy some extra pieces or something to make it look like an actual building that fits in my city.18 January 2022Jane, LEGO® Customer ServiceWe're sorry to hear you weren't thrilled with your new set and appreciate your feedback.Play Experience1.0Building Experience3.0Value for Money1.0

great start for a moc
I would recommend this to a friend!I think it’s fun to take city builds and finish them and then incorporate them into my city and I was excited to see a school. makes a great transition into my park as well. little bit pricey but I had a great time using spare bricks to make it mine. I added more lockers and a staircase to the first floor second is same plus stairs and the top I made into an art room. Definitely need to do a pab order and some landscaping to completely polish it off!Play Experience5.0Building Experience4.0Value for Money2.0

Nice startReally disappointed with this set. I've been buying Legos for almost 30 years, and this is the first set I can honestly say is a complete thumbs down. It has some really cool pieces, but Lego has been wasting so much time with these new road plates that they are shorting us on actual builds. The school isn't even a full facade, and the road plates raise the price, so you get a really sad build at $70, and the school isn't even the length of the road plate. There's no roof. This set really needs a price reduction for poor build quality. It's a nice start if you want to build a few together or it's a great commentary on the American education system. Poor build, poor quality.

So disappointingThese facade city sets have to go. The new road plates have caused Lego to shrinking the buildings to a disappointing size. There is no build value here and extremely limited play value beyond the too-small bus. Kids were so excited for a school and this is an embarrassment.Play Experience1.0Building Experience1.0Value for Money1.0
