  Good, not my favorite thou

  I would recommend this to a friend!

  As already detailed in many reviews, some love this set, other not so much. I am in the middle. One of the biggest issues I have with the set is the 3rd floor is a brick shorter then the 2nd. This does not look good on the interior with the doors frames coming right to the celling. Also makes the Hotel noticeable shorter then most other Modulars of the series. We added a brick overall to the 3rd floor height and in my opinion looks much better. Will get the correct colors for bricks added when available thru bricks and pieces (no Flesh color bricks available) Only real disappoint was Lego did not offer the Taxi Gift With Purchase when set was released. Wish I had delayed purchase. Will know better next time. Warning, the first floor of this set is not secured well. When moving this modular to our city, the first floor gave way and sent the model crashing to the floor. It is Lego so just rebuilt anything that broke, wish design was al little stronger, Overall this is a good set, and if you have a good place in your display for it feel you will not be disappointed. Just be careful should you decide to move it!

  Excellent work Lego! I had to build a new shelf this year as the collection expands in the play room. I enjoyed the instruction manual with the fun facts. The ‘angle’ build was the special feature of this model, always impressed.

  I would recommend this to a friend!

  Thoroughly enjoyable build start to finish. Never repetitive or predictable, it’s become one of my top three Modular Buildings. The designer(s) did an excellent job creating a unique building shape and layout. Some past builds used tedious build techniques to achieve a particular style. This set achieved a beautiful facade without any overly complicated or annoying building techniques. I also really appreciate the color scheme chosen for this set. The flesh tone was particularly interesting. 10 out of 10!

  I would recommend this to a friend!

  Me and my dad secretly bought this when I got a dupe set for Christmas. My dad enjoys watching me build. As with the modulars there is some play value but in the end you are not going to be doing that. This set is a tribute to all off the other modulars out there. I would say it needs more rooms and it does feel a bit cramped but other than that it is stunning. Price is so worth it as it is one of the most big lego sets at 3000 pieces and the second biggest modular. like I said it is a tribute to other modulars so it might not be the best one to start on. Buy it, or dont.
