Helping children navigate in-game friendships can be truly empowering. This activity offers fun and playful ways for families to have early conversations about online kindness – what it means, how to model it and how to handle unkind behavior.
Find a comfy place to sit with your child. Grab a handful of LEGO® bricks, paper, pencils or any favorite craft materials. You’ll be building and getting creative as you go through the activity!
The story is made up of 4 video chapters. In each video, you’ll come across a situation your child might face in an online game. If your child hasn’t experienced a similar situation, no worries. Ask them to imagine it happened to them or a friend.
At the end of each video, you’ll find playful activities followed by curious questions to spark family chats and connection around gaming.
All building activities and questions are open-ended, and there are no right or wrongs. We encourage you to let your child take the lead.
