In partnership with WWF

A girl plays with two pandas made from LEGO bricks.

Since 2014, we have been part of the Climate Savers program, WWF’s global platform that engages business and industry on climate and energy. Through this platform, we made our first commitments and set targets to reduce the impact of our operations, in particular greenhouse gas emissions and waste.

Planet Promise Design Guidelines

As part of our long-standing partnership, we have developed the Planet Promise Design Guidelines, a new tool to help children imagine a more sustainable future through LEGO® play.

  • A young girl plays with a LEGO Duplo train.

We know LEGO play is a powerful and engaging tool for children to make sense of the world around them.

  • A boy plays with a LEGO car, with an solar-powered charging station next to it.

The Planet Promise Design Guidelines support LEGO designers as they develop exciting new storylines that feature socially and environmentally responsible practices in LEGO play experiences.

  • Two girls play with a LEGO treehouse, which has solar panels on its rooftop.

The guidelines focus on the protection and restoration of nature, respecting communities, and the use of renewable energy and resources.
