A story in every piece
Take Olivia Rodrigo’s Flower Bouquet: Tucked into one of the blooms is a butterfly modeled on the Arhopala found in the Philippines, a nod to Olivia’s favorite animal and her Filipino heritage, together with a Red Leea flower, native to the Philippines and built partly from tiny cherries – one of Olivia’s recurring symbols. There’s a Californian Aster in there, too, honoring her California roots.
You’ll spot another iconic Olivia symbol – stars – worked into several of the flowers, plus a honeybee, a detail Olivia specifically included, in reference to her latest album. And a tiny cupcake in the center of one of the flowers, because she loves to bake banana bread.
The Olivia Rodrigo’s Vinyl set gets really personal, too. Her real signature is on the bottom, and Olivia chose it to be rendered in silver because that’s the color of the jewelry she wears. Olivia and the team used mirrored silver for the record label, too.
And then there’s the ladybug and honeybee tucked inside the notebook in the Olivia Rodrigo’s Secret Storage set. Olivia wanted to include the ladybug because it’s her lucky charm (she told us herself), and the iconic honeybee from her third and latest record. Even the decoration on the record was co-created with Olivia, pulling directly from her own graphics.
