Digitally interactive ghost-hunting toy
The mystery castle springs to life when viewed through a smart device with the LEGO Hidden Side AR app. Children then get to explore, solve mysteries, hunt ghosts and battle boss ghost The Maw in an exciting digital world. The possessed castle model also folds out, setting the scene for action-packed role play with the Jack, Parker, Vaughn, Nehmaar Reem and 2 Shadow-Walker minifigures.

An ever-evolving digital play experience
The LEGO Hidden Side universe is set in the fictional town of Newbury, where ghosts haunt people and buildings. The AR play experience is constantly enhanced through new content, characters and special events.

    Got this set for a dark fantasy MOC I've been building. I got the Monster fighters castle set so I can compare. The good: Decent display piece. Castle opens up inviting play, is also very sturdy Main Badguy mini-figure is awesome The colours look great. The Bad: Rooms themselves feel lacking in details. 2 prison cells with nothing in them... The mouth moving/trapdoor play feature is meh Light green parts SHOULD glow in the dark like monster hunters It feels like they were trying to make an improved version of monster fighters. But I feel as though is less interesting all up. It's a solid purchase for castle stuff but would not say essential.

    This is one of the best castles that Lego has built. We have completed ones from Monster Fighters, Nexo Nights, Vladek’s Dark Fortress and Ninjago .... and this one is the favorite. It has lots of great rooms, a trap door and a great aesthetic design. The only drawback would be if you are sticker averse.....as the set has ~40 of them to apply. I would recommend this castle even if you are not a fan of the hidden side theme.

    I would recommend this to a friend!
    My partner built this with the kids and they all had so much fun. I personally love how detailed it is. I also think that it is great how many other kits can go with it. The directions are easy to follow yet this took them a good while to complete!

    I would recommend this to a friend!
    My husband and 5 year old son spent and entire afternoon building this mystery castle they loved it. They made sure to glue the pieces together cause they spent a lot of time and effort building this. I'm so glad they could bond on building this so worth it!
