My SMART Brick’s colour sensor isn’t working
The SMART Brick uses a colour sensor to detect which sounds and lights to make when you’re playing with it.
Here are a few things to try if you’re having trouble getting your SMART Brick to read colours.
First, check that the SMART Brick’s battery is charged. When you take the brick off the SMART Charger, the colour of the light will tell you how much power is left:
- Green and a bright chirping sound means it’s fully charged.
- Yellow and a lower-pitched sound means there’s still a bit of play time left.
- Orange or red and a power-down sound tells you it’s running low and needs to charge. It takes up to 2.5 hours to charge it all the way up.
