Does the SMART Brick have a microphone in it?

The SMART Brick has a little microphone in it but it’s not turned on yet – we’re still getting products that will come later ready to use it. We’ll let you know as soon as an update is ready to turn it on. We’ll ask you through the LEGO® SMART Assist app if you’re happy for it to start working or if you’d rather not use it.

The SMART Brick has a built-in microphone for potential future play experiences. The microphone is currently deactivated. If we develop play experiences that make use of the microphone, we’ll let you know that a SMART Brick update is ready. Activation will require both your permission and a SMART Brick update. Of course, you'll have the choice and power to keep it deactivated, if you prefer not to use it.
