  New to Lego

  I would recommend this to a friend!

  I am new to Lego and never seen the fascination with it however I have always wanted a couple of Lego items. My partner purchased this for me when we were out and as soon as I got home I started building. It took me 5 hours due to being a novice. I can easily say I am hooked on Lego and already have Hedwig and the Hogwarts express on the way. These won’t be used as toys they will be display pieces. I am determined to own the Hogwarts castle and the Disney castle in the near future! I had so much fun building and am so excited for my others to arrive. The instructions were clear and there were plenty of spare parts left over which was great. Would highly recommend Fawkes, he looks awesome all finished and he moves his wings.

  Beautiful, fun (even a little challenging) build

  This is just such a beautiful set with the gorgeous sunset color palette Fawkes has. I had passed on the Hedwig set, just because I thought it looked a bit "off," but with this set, Fawkes just looks so regal and magnificent, and completely spot on. The build is fun, as well, even though there is some repetition since you basically build the same wing twice. But it provided a little bit of a challenge when putting together the mechanics that make the wings "fly," which was fun to work through. Absolutely worth your money, too.
