- July 8th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Beautiful Lego setSarahJD |I would recommend this to a friend!I was thrilled to receive this lovely Lego set. My family have been building Lego since I was little, and the Bird of Paradise is an absolute favourite of mine. Aimed at adults 18+, but a capable teenager would be able to complete. It took me approximately 90 minutes to build at a leisurely, enjoyable pace. The instructions provided were - as always with Lego - very clear and easy to follow. It was nice to see some unusual pieces that I've not come across before, and the build was slightly challenging but not overly complex. The finished article s a stunning piece of art that I'm proud to display. Highly recommendedPlay Experience5.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Bird of Paradise
- June 9th, 2021Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Great build but a little pricey...I would recommend this to a friend!I love all the botanical sets, including this one. However, this set is over priced compared to the flowers and the bonsai tree. I purchased on release day so paid full price and wish I’d waited as I’ve since seen it for up to $40 cheaper (which stings). I managed to build it in one sitting, with the build being pretty enjoyable and straight forward. It’s not complicated and doesn’t take too long. For this reason it’s over priced. The end result is enjoyable and I do love it. If I had of paid $120/$130 as opposed to $170 there would have been no complaints from me. Here’s hoping the next addition to the botanicals collection is priced a little fairer.Value for Money3.0Was this helpful?45Bird of Paradise
- August 18th, 2021Average rating3out of 5 stars3.0Why can't we get green Technic pieces? They grey and black Technic pieces (won't mention the blue peeking through) almost ruined the whole experience. We spent $100 and it's not even the correct colors. I would expect this from a $20 set but this is not acceptable in this case. How much does it drive up the price to make 2 existing pieces in the right color? Every piece besides Technic gets produced in every color under the sun, is it such a stretch for us to ask for various colors in Technic when we spend this much. That is such an oversight it's embarrassing. Do you think we wouldn't notice or that we wouldn't care?Play Experience3.0Value for Money2.0Was this helpful?35Bird of Paradise

The set also comes with "more LEGO golden rings than any other set!" but these are all buried in the depth of the pot never to be seen again so feel a bit pointless where a more "standard" piece could be used instead. Overall it looks nice when completed but is about £20-£25 too expensive in my opinion after completing the Flower Bouquet, Roses, Tulips and Bonsai Tree in the last year which were all at a lower price.Play Experience3.0Value for Money2.0Was this helpful?45Bird of Paradise
