Product development
We bring new build and play experiences to life – from initial concept ideation to production.
Creative collaboration
We work together and across different departments to research, ideate, design, and refine products’ quality, usability, construction, story, play value, instructions, and materials.
Attention to detail
We research child safety, environmental impact, user experience, and consumer and market trends, so that the LEGO group always delivers high quality, safe, and fun play experiences for people of all ages, interests, backgrounds, and abilities.
Passion for play
We create great products because we love what we do and we believe children are our role models. We take play seriously and we love making the LEGO Group the best and most recognizable toy company in the world.
Who we're looking for
People in the LEGO Design team are as diverse as our audiences and play experiences. We’re a world-class, multidisciplinary team full of passionate, talented people from design and non-design backgrounds. These include industrial, graphic, fashion, textile, and UX design, engineering, architecture, communication, and more. What it’s like to work here
The LEGO Design team is so diverse. It’s made up of people from all walks of life who all share a passion for designing meaningful and joyful play experiences. We make toys and get to use real bricks to make physical models. We’re hands-on and conceptual. We collaborate with extremely talented, different, and inspiring people. "I was a student before I joined the LEGO Group. I came as an intern for a year, before returning to university to finish my degree. I was hired shortly before I graduated and now work on LEGO Friends."
Raquel Ojeda Gregorio, Design Manager
"I was toy designer in a Spanish toy company for five years before joining the LEGO Group. I didn´t start here as a design manager. I was a Designer. But what attracted me were the amazing values that the LEGO Group has and the fact that we put the user at the centre of everything we do. I now work in the LEGO Friends team."

"I started my career as a motorcycle designer at Honda HRE-D in Italy. Then I got an opportunity to work at Triumph Motorcycle in the UK. And now I’ve been at the LEGO Group for 5 years and work in LEGO Technic team."
Radost Radoslavova, Senior Designer
As a Senior Concept Designer in Creative Play Lab, I develop new play experiences, products, and services. I was attracted to this role because of the challenges it offered to explore new areas and opportunity spaces for the LEGO Group. I was excited by the chance to start an idea from scratch as well as the possibility to innovate and make a positive change.

From your very first day, you’ll have access to the LEGO Design Academy, which offers uniquely crafted learning and development opportunities. Development in the LEGO Design Department takes the starting point in your personal strengths and offers learning experiences to develop width and/or depth to make you world class in your design discipline. And above else we champion children and enable you to build a thorough understanding of their minds, passions, and lives.
