- July 10th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Beautiful set, exciting buildKatieE |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfThis set is absolutely stunning! As a teenage Lego fan, this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s a really fun and challenging build, with tons of hidden features and attention to detail. Even though it is much smaller than minifigure scale, the designer was able to add tons of detail to the different rooms and really capture the feel of the castle. Many of the unnamed students included in the set resemble specific characters, like Luna, Neville, and Ginny. I love the dragon on the tower and the tiny Ford Anglia! The stained glass windows look beautiful when you shine a light through! The set perfectly captures the iconic Hogwarts skyline and looks great on a coffee table or shelf for display. The exterior of the set looks very realistic and reminds me of sets from the Architecture line. There are many interesting building techniques, especially on the circular towers. I loved seeing how the designer used pieces intended for a minifigure scale set (a paintbrush for a broomstick, roller skate for the car tires, ski poles on the tops of the towers, etc). For a 6,000 piece set, it is surprisingly easy to move and is very sturdy. This set is absolutely worth the money and I would love to see more sets like it in the future!Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty5.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 15 hrsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Hogwarts™ Castle
- January 19th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0So Cool!Fieldst |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI decided on a whim that I wanted to build something Lego, so I purchased this castle! It was awesome. It took me a few hours each day for a week to complete; then I ordered a lighting kit for it, wired it, and then my brother-in-law made me a rotating stand so each side could be seen! I would definitely recommend this build!January 21, 2020Samuel, LEGO Customer ServiceA true magical castle. #HogwartsWonderland? ;)Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 7 daysBuilding Experience: Novice LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Hogwarts™ Castle
- September 3rd, 2018Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Totally worth itPeteMK |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfSpending £350 on what a lot of friends and relatives call 'a lump of plastic' was a daunting prospect, but as soon as I saw this set, I knew I had to VIP up and get it, and I'm so glad I did. The level of detail is unprecedented, and creating each little diorama adds to the excitement as the build progresses. I love that Devil's Snare is hidden 'in the depths of the castle' and isn't actually visible intil you pull the two halves apart. The tiny details, such as Tom Riddle's Diary on the floor of the Chamber of Secreats, or the Philosopher's stone at the foot of the mirror of Erised just adds to the overall sense of skill and dedication from the designers. This is microfig scale, and that is to the model's benefit. Having the set as Minifig scale would have made it unweildly and distressingly expensive. This isn't a playset, it's a model to be created and admired.Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty5.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 14 daysBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Hogwarts™ Castle

The level of detail is so impressive and the fact that they managed to flawlessly include so many scenes from all the books makes it so great! My fiancée and I spent 2 days building this massive castle and loved every minute of it.
