Only had the chance to start collecting from HP 2018 onwards. Loved the lit up fireplace, the dragon egg by the fireplace, the choice of brick pieces to create the objects as close to the original as possible. Loved Buckbeak and the new pumpkin moulds. Loved how the hut is constructed. Would have been awesome if Hagrid's bed was included, but understandably its too huge a build to be included in this set. So glad I have Hagrid's Hut now! Hope there will be a release of Diagon Alley too (Olivanders, Zonko's Joke Shop, weasleys wizard wheezes, Gringotts etc)Play ExperienceAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Level of DifficultyAverage rating2out of 5 stars2.0Value for MoneyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Was this helpful?55Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue
- December 26th, 2019Average rating3out of 5 stars3.0Mistake in manualMy step sister was given this set and in the first packet, on the brown piece that looks like an A, it originally says each side has 4 bumps, which is like what we received. Then on the following page, it suddenly appeared to have 5 bumps not 4, and the cream pieces to put on top added up to 5 bumps both in the manual and in the set. So the cream pieces did not match up with the brown pieces. This caused my step sister a lot of stress. We ended up having to over lap the yellow pieces on top of the brown2 January 2020Emily, Customer ServiceThanks for your review! From your picture, it looks like your sister missed a couple small parts back in step #8. This step calls for two brown 1x1 plates (little square pieces) which give that section the right length. Heading back to that step and everything should be A-Okay.Build Time: 2 hrsWas this helpful?35Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue
- June 13th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Decent, good addition to lineI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI've been building for well over a decade, so this was a very easy build, but it still held up. Minifigs were all good, it's a little annoying how harry Ron and Hermione pop up in every set (I have over 6 of each now), It would be nice to get new ones rather than just redundant repeats with slight changes. Buckbeak is FANTASTIC and a huge improvement over the old version. Build is fairly sturdy but won't hold up to roughhousing, not a good choice for younger children. Decent deal and playability, interior access is an improvement over earlier versions. Overall decent and a must-have for Hogwarts collections.Play ExperienceAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Value for MoneyAverage rating3out of 5 stars3.0Build Time: 1 hrsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue
- September 26th, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Love the setI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI recently got back into building with legos so I don't really have anything to compare this set to, but I absolutely love it! It's just so cool to own, build, play with my own set of Hagrid's Hut. I love the details put into the hut (the light feature too!!) and also love all the minifigs, including Buckbeak of course! I haven't built legos since probably 2005-06? so I found a few new pieces which made it more exciting! It is a bit pricy - but I understand that lego building is not a cheap hobby! I found this at Costco for around $9-10 lower than the original price - and I do not regret the purchase.Play ExperienceAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Level of DifficultyAverage rating2out of 5 stars2.0Value for MoneyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Building Experience: Novice LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue
