The LEGO Group Ranked #1 Most Attractive Employer in Manufacturing in the Czech Republic
In June 2022 we were excited (and proud!) to learn that our team in the Czech Republic is again at the forefront of the Randstad Most Attractive Employers Award in the Czech Republic. In the category of manufacturing, we returned to first place, and in addition ranked third Most Attractive Employer overall.
For more than 20 years, we have been one of the largest employers in the Central Bohemia, and our people has always been a top priority and central to our success in the region.

Kladno campus
The production plant in Kladno is one of the world's five LEGO factories in operation and soon to be more. It plays a vital role in our global supply chain, as well as in the local economy.
There are very high safety standards, which are based on our experience with the operation of our factories around the world.
Our story in the Kladno factory began in 2000, with 87 employees working there. The factory continued to grow and became an important employer in the region with approximately 3,500 full-time employees and 1,000 seasonal employees.

Leading Innovation
Since 2012, the factory in Kladno has become a centre of innovation for the LEGO Group with the Research & Development (R&D) team also being placed there. This team are the pioneers in developing new production technologies, preparing, and implementing pilot sustainable packaging solutions.
In 2016, our Shared Service function, Business Service Operations team was set up in Kladno and is directly part of the factory site team.
The campus also includes a team producing amazing large 3D models and, of course, teams that ensure the decoration of elements or minifigures (processing) and their packaging in bags (pre-pack) and then the final packaging in boxes.
About the Randstad award
The Randstad Award for the most attractive employers is based on the results of the world's largest survey of employee preferences, Randstad Employer Brand Research, which has been running globally more than 20 years.
The survey examines the attractiveness of the largest employers for potential employees and what is important for employees when choosing an employer.
In the Czech Republic, the Analytics survey was conducted for the 5th time on a sample of almost 5,000 respondents from general public who assessed the attractiveness of the 150 largest private sector employers.
