A role tasked with identifying relevant insights on government related strategies and effectively tracking pipeline of public education system tenders in major markets. Focus is on the European Union, but also large-scale opportunities in Emerging Markets. Objective is to ensure that we are providing our reseller base with best-in-class insights, toolkits, and assets to respond to leading opportunities. This includes follow through with tracking progress and learnings from live implementations.

Also, this role is tasked to act as a strategic business development resource focused on further analyzing footprint gaps/opportunities and follow through on actioning it in collaboration with key sales lead stakeholders around the world.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed research on education industry trends in leading markets
  • Track, analyze, and report on leading tender opportunities in the EU and European market federal funded programs (heatmaps/budget reviews/tender lifecycle monitoring)
  • Ensure resellers are best prepared to submit tenders through sharing of best-practice data and assets
  • Maintain data systems to monitor live implementation and bring learnings back in house.
  • 2-3 business development projects per year focused on developing the LEGO Education value proposition and footprint in specific International markets

You will join the LEGO Education International Trade & Market Development Team in either Billund or London. A highly professional unit with a broad variety of tasks serving as the foundation for our business platform, the commercial strategy and execution across our organization.

Moreover, we believe you have:

  • Education in a business-related field
  • Proven experience working in an international commercial context where analytical skills and understanding of data is a must to succeed and further develop a business.
  • A natural flair for shifting between intense focused and ongoing desk research to proactive stakeholder collaboration
  • Strong attention to detail and respond to trends/data points
  • Strong English communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to take initiative, recognize and act on opportunities.
  • Curiosity, a passion for learning, improving, and collaborating.
  • Can accept some travel plans both global and regionally.
