The LEGO Group is looking for a Time and Attendance Engineer to work on our cross-platform time and attendance setup as part of the Time and Pay team based in Billund.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will work in the product engineering team, so you can support the team in meeting our collaborators’ needs.

This is a multifaceted role, which will include but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Configure time and attendance solutions to support the needed processes, legal requirements etc. both globally and locally in collaboration with the business side. This while considering how this configuration impacts the technological landscape end-to-end

  • This could be setting up time and attendance for hourly employees on a factory or configuring absence to support global processes.

  • Ensure the right quality by detailing and testing your configurations before releasing

  • Be active in internal and external communities (e.g. Workday community or Kronos community) to get recommendations to problem solving and to understand future possibilities and features

  • Investigate and fix errors reported by the users

  • Collaborate with your team and the team’s partners to ensure the best solutions

As a Time and Attendance Engineer you will be part of our evolving product called Payroll and Time. The mission for this product team is to take care of time and attendance for our LEGO factories, LEGO Brand Retail Stores and salaried employees while ensuring correct data foundation for payroll as well as supporting our payroll platforms globally.

Together with the team and business colleagues, the Time and Attendance Engineer will support this goal by delivering and maintaining configuration mainly within applications such as Workday and Kronos UKG Pro WFM.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience with time and attendance configuration within either Workday or Kronos

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a wide range of specialists and domain experts on various levels across different countries and cultures

  • Systematic approach – high on structure and detail

  • Understanding how Time Management feeds into payroll systems

  • Proactive and dedicated

  • Great teammate and thrive with agile ways of working

  • Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent/relevant education

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
