We are looking for a student worker to join the Innovation & Technology Development Team of Additive Design & Manufacturing – take this opportunity to play a vital role in coordinating collaboration opportunities with academic partners.   
 

Core Responsibilities

This is a newly created role where you will have the opportunity to work closely with subject matter experts in Additive Manufacturing (AM), the Head of Innovation & Technology Development, and external academic partner organisations.

You will be part of the Additive Design & Manufacturing (AD&M) organisation and responsible for coordinating research and talent development opportunities that will enable innovation, and ensure a healthy engineering talent pipeline for the future.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Mapping and evaluating existing and potential academic collaborations
  • Coordinating and managing relationships with academic institutions.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and communicating relevant research/project opportunities to AD&M Product Owners
  • Identifying knowledge sharing opportunities that align with AD&M’s research and development goals.
  • Support outreach activities and the like, aimed at developing a strong engineering talent pipeline for AD&M
  • Collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with wider brand, recruitment, and research guidelines/considerations

You could be from any academic background as long as you can demonstrate strong interest in working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, and a knack for understanding complex technologies in a manufacturing setting.

Based in our office in Billund, you will work across diverse teams that are focusing on the research and development of design methodologies and technologies, production technologies, materials, and applications in Additive Manufacturing (AM).

The team’s aim is to push and drive the AM industry and its technologies towards true large-scale production, and we need you to support us with identifying and evaluating the research and talent development opportunities that will get us there!
 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Currently studying a bachelors degree in business or similar
  • Passionate about technology innovation
  • Interested in business process development and improvement
  • Interested in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Organised and details oriented
  • Available to work 15 flexible hours per week to accommodate an academic schedule.
  • Live in commuting distance to our office in Billund, Denmark
  • Available for an employment period of minimum 6 months
  • Experience in use of Microsoft 365 Outlook, Teams, & SharePoint
  • Experience in use of visual collaboration software (E.g., Miro)
  • ​Proficient in English both in writing as well as orally
