We have an outstanding opportunity of taking the finance lead on some of our key strategic investments within Product & Marketing Development of the LEGO Group.

To secure delivery on our finance business partnering promise this position will be responsible for the business plan preparations and financial management of strategic investments as well as marketing transformation. Using your excellent commercial competence and financial expertise, you act as a strong business partner to senior executives.

Relocation support is not offered for this role.

Core Responsibilities:

Business Partnering:

  • Act as the primary Finance Business Partner for the Merlin Partnership Team, collaborating with key contributors from Marketing, Branding, Digital, Design, Strategy, and Retail to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure timely communication of financial budgets and results to relevant parties, pinpointing potential risks and opportunities and implementing actionable solutions.
  • Provide financial guidance to support retail and marketing transformation initiatives across LEGOLAND Parks and Discovery Centres.

Strategic Finance:

  • Drive strategic finance and business planning efforts to foster brand consistency.
  • Oversee financial aspects of investment projects from inception through execution to post-investment analysis.
  • Conduct financial modeling akin to M&A evaluations to facilitate senior leaders' decision-making and secure partner funding.

Financial Management & Planning:

  • Lead financial oversight and planning processes, including routine reviews, periodic estimates, and annual plans.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Merlin Partnership to allocate financial resources strategically in line with business strategy.
  • Partner with FP&A to develop, review, and submit financial estimates and plans.

To secure delivery on our finance business partnering commitment, this role will spearhead the financial leadership of a major groundbreaking initiative. It involves a deep understanding of business plans and the development of global-level financial management strategies.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong understanding of finance, commercial and strategic areas of global brands
  • Business integration or Merger & Acquisition finance expertise
  • Strong commercial business understanding combined with excellent analytical & modelling skills
  • Excellent written & verbal presentation and communication skills
  • Ability and experiences in dealing with uncertainty and ambitious environment
  • SAP, Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • Collaborative working style

Please note: This is a permanent position based in our new vibrant Campus in Billund, DK. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office).
