Job Description

Product Delivery Technology is a crucial component of the Consumer and Creator Technology organization within Digital Technology. Our department is dedicated to the creation of cutting-edge digital products, spanning digital element design, digital building experiences, workflow management and digital content distribution. We operate at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and technology, committed to delivering solutions that drive excellence across different domains in the LEGO Group.
As a key member of the Digital Assets Creation Management team at the LEGO Group, your role is essential to our digital transformation. 


Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced technical solutions, ensuring they align with the overall product strategy and architectural goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Architect, optimize, and maintain high-performance software and systems that scale efficiently to meet the evolving needs of our digital products.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Design and develop APIs, microservices, and other software components that are secure, scalable, and highly available.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, working closely with the team to identify and implement solutions.

  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices, ensuring our solutions remain at the cutting edge of the industry.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of Agile methodologies within the team, promoting iterative and incremental development practices.

  • Collaborate with other engineers to drive interoperability and integration of our technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in a software development role.

  • Expertise in software architecture, design, and development.

  • Proven experience with Azure or AWS, distributed applications, and databases.

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java or C#.

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and message brokers/bus systems.

  • Experience in domain-driven design.

  • Skilled in SQL and NoSQL databases, with a solid grasp of data storage and database management.

  • Experience with containerization technologies and infrastructure automation.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management and Workflow Management systems.

  • Test-driven development.

  • Competence in resource management (ARM templates and Terraform).

  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages and frontend development frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Angular, React, Node.js etc.).

  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies related to media asset creation and process automation.
