Job Description

Are you a Full stack Senior Software Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies and a deep understanding of the most widely used frameworks and platforms? The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable solutions with the use of cloud services and other third-party systems to drive efficiency, reliability, and performance in the Product Master data area in the LEGO Group.

Core responsibilities

  • Follow modern engineer practice and disciplines, working closely with product manager to ensure the solution meet the ideal value outcome. 

  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy applications and services leveraging best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and resilient systems that meet performance and availability requirements.

  • Utilize a wide range of cloud services and technologies, including AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.

  • Mentor other engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our software capabilities.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 6+ years of experience in software development. It is of less importance that you have used a specific coding language.

  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Solid grasp of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Our department is dedicated to the creation of innovative digital products, spanning digital element design, digital building experiences, workflow management and digital content distribution. We are currently establishing a new product team for Licensing & Extended Line. The team will handle all the Licensed LEGO products that are not produced by the LEGO Group, but our partners like Adidas, Disney etc.
The team will serve the organization with system solutions that meets their goals and creates value every day.
