We are looking to hire a Senior Director to lead in defining the audience strategy and go-to-market priorities for LEGO® Retail globally based on overall company strategy & direction, alongside the subsequent management & execution of in-year and long-term campaigns.

LEGO® Retail is a multi-channel, international retail business and ‘The World’s Biggest LEGO shop’ selling to consumers via LEGO.com and our own branded physical retail stores. This role will sit within the Retail Experience & Marketing Leadership team, with a broader responsibility to empower and inspire the full LEGO Retail organisation. 

The Marketing Performance & Audience Planning team defines the global audience strategy and GTM priorities, ensuring the marketing budget is in line with annual priorities while monitoring and improving effectiveness of marketing campaigns & budget. 


The Campaigns Development Team is responsible for developing and leading the LEGO® Retail marketing campaigns and drive period strategy, and for balancing marketing levers and priorities in activations for optimised campaign execution. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear priorities for marketing performance & planning that help maximise marketing investment choices and enhance commercial performance in support of strategic objectives

  • Deliver on portfolio and go-to-market priorities in the annual planning process with central Markets & Channels (M&C) Marketing

  • Provide strategic and audience-first input into the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process, working in collaboration with the cross-functional LEGO Retail ICP team that develops both growth projections and key initiatives

  • Ensure maximum value and impact of our retail marketing investments to support long-term brand building and short-term commercial performance through a robust performance framework

  • Develop engaging and effective retail campaigns aligned to global campaign direction that fully utilise the unique strengths across the LEGO Retail channels (LBR stores and .com) within the shopper journey

  • Create overall campaign prioritisation within the demand planning process that supports brand and commercial objectives 

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong marketing experience with a shopper-centric approach, successfully balancing both brand development and commercial performance, including campaign development, audience planning and marketing performance management

  • Experience owning global marketing prioritizations and driving global campaign execution across marketing level owners

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven way of working

  • Holistic thinking – ability to establish and drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functions
