Core Responsibilities

  • Drives an IIOT platform product team by taking technical ownership and responsibility for the scope of the platform supporting different products
  • Ensure alignment to the overall architecture for the domain and establish technical strategies across Digital Technology
  • Understands the relationship between own specialism and wider customer/organisational requirements
  • Acts as a key driver behind establishing team processes, engineering practices and habits in the product team
  • Acts proactively in the technology space – researches and evaluates software products, tools, techniques and methodologies and introduces them to the team when relevant
  • Actively participates and contributes to cross organizational initiatives and communities
  • Influences the management of resources appropriate to given assignments

Join our product team at this exciting juncture, where you will lead our Manufacturing Digital Platform team. Experience firsthand the dynamic landscape of digital manufacturing as you spearhead innovation and drive the evolution of our innovative solutions. Our immediate focus lies in contributing to Platform Technology products and assembling a team to support a new IIoT platform that will for instance enable other product teams to gather data from the factory floor and deploy software that interfaces with factory machines. In this role, you will be closely involved with the hardware, ensuring seamless connectivity between our machines and the cloud in a secure, scalable, and easily maintainable manner. The platform will be specifically engineered to operate with small, efficient computing devices serving as an IIoT edge compute environment. The ambition is to have a zero-touch provisioning platform to avoid the need for specialized IT knowledge on the factory floor.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience with IoT technologies used in an industrial environment
  • Skilled in programming languages such as Typescript, Python, or similar
  • Experience with infrastructure orchestration, preferably infrastructure as code
  • Proficient in CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Containerization
  • Knowledgeable in working with AWS or MS Azure cloud technologies
  • Works independently and can help set the direction for the product team
  • Open for new initiatives and drives great team culture
  • Understands what sets aside a platform team from “ordinary” software development
