This is a strong opportunity to gain extensive knowledge of the LEGO Group's financial processes related to the LEGO Markets & Channel Business and grow a strong network across the organization!

As part of the Global Cost Management team, you will play a key role in driving innovation and continuous improvement in the financial planning processes as well as being the key driver and overall ensuring responsible management of costs spanning within your area of responsibility while you optimize, digitalize, and embrace technology.

Core responsibilities:

  • Drive core finance processes such as planning & analysis, Month-end closing and reporting for all Overhead cost in Markets & Channels

  • Deliver Over Heads cost analytics enabling trade-offs & optimization dialogues with partners in the business and finance community.

  • Support on commercial strategy reporting for Market & Channels workstreams

  • Identify, scope, and implement activities to simplify, standardize and further optimize execution of core finance processes. This includes utilization of digital tools.

At our HQ in Billund, you will join a team of 15 dedicated and ambitious colleagues working out of both London and Billund in a phenomenal environment. We are organized in Corporate Finance and control and guide the financial performance for Overhead cost across the LEGO® Group.

Do you have what it takes?

A degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance combined with an analytic approach and the ability to translate something complex into a simple storyline.

  • +5 years shown experience from a global company or a consultancy role within financial planning and analysis, and with Finance Business partner & commercial experience.

  • Strong Partner engagement skills and the ability to build good relationships and aligned outcomes.

  • Ability to drive and prioritize tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery in high quality. Have a planning approach and be motivated by taking initiative to continuously improve execution and act on opportunities.

  • Experience working with various data and reporting platforms such as Excel, SAP, business intelligence and Power BI.

  • Excellent communication in English for both speaking and writing as well as excellent collaboration skills

  • Work independently and ensure high quality of own work.
