Core responsibilities

  • From our Headquarters in Billund, you will be part of a highly professional and passionate team who collaborate closely with partners across the LEGO Group. You will primarily cover Denmark and the Nordic countries with supporting people leaders and People Partners in all matters related to employment law, collective agreements, and internal HR policies. More specifically, you will:

  • Provide guidance and support across business units in terms of individual as well as collective employment law and legislation (including collective agreements like “Industriens Overenskomst (IO)” and “Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst (IFO)” in Denmark).

  • Support and guide people partners, people leaders and union representatives when adjusting and implementing new policies and when individual cases needs to be investigated, evaluated, prepared, and solved

  • Handle cases that comes in through our Compliance Line

  • Support our Diversity and Inclusion Journey by giving input to various projects, and help secure that tasks such as cases, reorganizations and projects are being handled with a D&I lense

  • Maintain and update standard contracts and prepare and maintain internal policies – e.g., make sure the HR policies in Denmark and the Nordic countries are in accordance with new legislation

  • Prepare and update our Business Service Operations (BSO) with the newest HR policies, legislation and collective agreements, and occasionally support them with your knowledge and insights in terms of employment law and individual employee related questions

  • Be the one-point-of-contact for creating and maintaining different collaboration agreements with universities, - both in regard to interns, student workers, project writers and PhD-students

Do you have what it takes?

The successful candidate comes with a background in law or similar and several years of experience working with Danish Employment law and collective agreements in a global context. In addition, you are a solid communicator, with the ability to transition complex questions and matters to simple solutions.

As a person, you are curious, proactive and like to learn and develop combined with bringing solid negotiation and “building bridges” skills. You thrive in a fast paced environment and have the ability to push-back and stand strong on your legal arguments. Finally, you are a teammate who is willing to lean in and contribute to the success of the team, where high professionalism and strong deliverables are combined with an open-minded, friendly, and fun way of working.
