Make a Castle
Create you very own Knights Kingdom castle by transforming an old cardboard box.
You will need
- One Cardboard box
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Craft knife or very sharp scissor
- String
- Masking or duct tape (optional)
- Crayons, paint, or whatever else springs to mind to decorate your castle.
Directions (Adult Supervision Required): |
Step 1: Carefully cut off the top flaps from the box. |
Step 2:
Using the pencil and ruler draw four wide rectangles along the front, back and two sides.
To make the towers at each corner, cut out the rectangles along the front, sides, and the back.
Step 3:
Draw rectangular battlements along each side of the box using the pencil and ruler.
Cut out the battlements.
Step 4:
Draw either an arched or rectangular drawbridge shape at the front of the castle. Carefully create two holes at either side of the drawbridge. Make two additional holes in the both sides of the wall above the drawbridge. Cut out the drawbridge so it forms a flap.
Step 5:
Feed a string through each of the holes in the drawbridge and tie knots at the ends to fasten
them securely. Push the other ends of the strings through the holes in the castle wall and tie knots or fasten to the inner wall using strong tape.
Step 6:
Use markers, crayons, paints to decorate the castle and add brickwork.
