LEGO® Vikings

The LEGO® Vikings sets are inspired by ancient Scandinavian myhology interlinked with viking sagas. The vikings with horned helmets battle legendary creatures from the Norse mythology. The theme includes LEGO minifigures featuring new facial expressions, decorations, weapons and armor pieces. The sets have impressively long names, such as ‘The Viking Fortress against the Fafnir Dragon’ - the largest set in the theme. In total seven LEGO Vikings sets are launched between 2005 and 2007. The sets include Viking Warrior challenges the Fenris Wolf (7015), Viking Ship challenges the Midgard Serpent (7018), Viking Catapult versus the Nidhogg dragon (7017), Viking fortress against the Fafnir Dragon (7019), Viking Boat against the Wyvern dragon (7016), Army of Vikings with Heavy Artillery (7020) and Double Viking Catapult against the armored Ofnir Dragon (7021). Due to its popularity, the theme avoids discontinuation for an extra year until the end of 2007.
