About the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime app
LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime is a complete learning solution that links hands-on play with digital coding experiences. The drag and drop programming and lesson plans inside the SPIKE Prime app are passed onto the programmable hub to bring physical builds to life. No matter which device you use, the app’s design, programming and functionality are the same.
The SPIKE Prime app is required to use the set as there’s no on-hub programming function.
System requirements
The SPIKE Prime app is available from the App Store on iOS and Mac, the Google Play Store on Android, and the Windows Store on Windows 10. It can also be accessed online using the Chrome browser on any device, including Chromebook.
For more info on system requirements, head over to education.LEGO.com.
Languages
The SPIKE Prime app is available in English, Arabic, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
Bluetooth
The SPIKE Prime hub uses Bluetooth Classic, which means that it can connect to devices using Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0 and up. For more info on Bluetooth requirements, go to education.LEGO.com.
Teacher resources
Teacher resources are available in the SPIKE Prime app right where they’re needed – inside the lessons! Whether you’re just getting started or jumping straight into a unit, you’ll have access to lesson plans in the More Information menu or by going to the Start menu and choosing Extra Resources.
More app help
You’ll soon be on your way to being a SPIKE Prime expert! In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more info about motors, sensors, or programming blocks, or you can’t seem to figure something out, you can use the Help section inside the app. Go to the Settings tab on the Home menu and choose Help.
And remember—LEGO Education support is just a chat, email or phone call away.
