About LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential
LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential is a learning tool for kids ages 6-10. It combines LEGO bricks and electronic parts with easy-to-use software to teach students about problem solving and creative thinking in a fun way. The set’s designed to capture students’ imaginations and teach them 21st century skills.
SPIKE Essential is made up of a main classroom set and a variety of LEGO elements and hardware such as a sensor, motors, and a programmable hub that makes it all work. You’ll need the SPIKE app downloaded onto a compatible device in order to use the set. It comes with lesson plans and in-app support – you can download it for free on LEGOeducation.com.
