“Here’s the part where ye walk the plank!” The Scallywag Pirate hates having to do anything that’s clean and nice. Brushing his teeth, combing his hair and doing laundry weren’t for him, so at the first opportunity, he hopped on board a pirate ship and joined its crew. Now he gets to do all of the stuff he wants – fire cannons, tie sailing knots, eat horrible pirate cooking, and even wear an eyepatch. Nobody makes you keep neat and tidy when you’re a scurvy buccaneer. The Scallywag Pirate is thrilled that he gets to shave with a cutlass and never has to do any washing-up. And maybe his clothes are falling apart and his teeth have gone rotten and he doesn’t have any hair left to comb…but that’s exactly the pirate’s life that he signed up for!

A mischievous and magical boy who never grows up, Peter Pan lives on the far-away island of Neverland, where he has adventures every day leading the Lost Boys and battling a gang of villainous pirates led by Captain Hook. For a modest fee, other criminals can hire him to erase the evidence they leave behind, so that not even a Dark Knight Detective can trace their tracks!

“Go forth, my minions, and bring me the universe!” With a name far too regal (not to mention too long and too unpronounceable) to mention here, the Alien Villainess rules over a vast interstellar empire devoted to one thing and one thing only – total universal conquest! From her towering citadel on the Imperial Throneworld, she sends out fleets of flying saucers to every corner of the galaxy, ordering the commander of each to invade and conquer any planet they find. From the top of her pulsating purple brain to the tips of her tentacles, the Alien Villainess craves nothing less than absolute control over all of outer space. That’s why it’s so annoying when people try to stop her, especially that pesky Intergalactic Girl who keeps arriving at the last minute, escaping her brilliantly inescapable traps and messing up her plans. Don’t they realize that the universe would be so much better if only everybody would swear eternal allegiance to her?

Donald Duck is clever and energetic, with a hot-headed temper that often gets the best of him. He’s impatient, stubborn, easily flustered and loves to be the center of attention, but deep down he’s got a heart of gold and still gets shy around his girlfriend Daisy. Donald’s adventures with his best friends Mickey and Goofy are full of fun, laughter, and often a little trouble!

“Happy birthday, everybody!” The Birthday Party Girl wasn’t around in 1978 when the first modern LEGO® Minifigure was made. In fact, she wasn’t around at all until 2018. She’s brand-new! But even though she doesn’t yet know the long and amazing history of minifigures, from the earliest play themes to the newest special parts and characters, she can’t help but get caught up in the excitement of celebrating 40 years of minifigure fun. After all, this isn’t just the most amazing and thrilling party she’s ever been to – it’s also her very first one!

Homer Simpson may not be the most attentive husband around, but he sure loves his wife Marge. So when an important occasion or anniversary arrives (and by some miracle he remembers it), Homer dresses to the nines and acts the proper gentleman for her benefit. He uses his scientific and psychiatric skills to perform weird experiments, from creating mutated monsters to attempting to deduce Batman’s secret identity. Whatever you do, don’t call him “Doctor” – the distinguished medical profession would never stand for it!

“Oops! Careful! Sorry!” When she put together her costume, the Cactus Girl thought she was making an interesting and one-of-a-kind outfit to wear to the party. Little did she know just how much trouble it would cause! Thanks to her prickly costume, the Cactus Girl has to be super careful not to bump into anyone. Getting close to balloons turned out to be a big mistake (though at least the Firework Guy had fun). And those realistic cactus arms she made for the suit? Forget about picking up cake or opening presents! Maybe next time she’ll go as a lobster instead…

“Om nom nom nom.” Have you ever met a semi-intelligent ambulatory plant? One very alarmed Minifigure recently has! The Plant Monster used to be the Monster Scientist’s houseplant until the silly mad doctor accidentally gave it too much of his experimental super-growth fertilizer, causing the horticultural horror to sprout arms, legs, spiky vines, and one huge appetite. Lurking in gardens, bushes, and anywhere else that’s green, the Plant Monster bides its time and then springs out to swallow up passers-by with a gulp and a happy smack of its leafy flytrap mouth. Oddly, it isn’t actually a carnivorous species (though it doesn’t seem to know that), and as long as it gets plenty of sunlight and regular watering, it just spits its victims out again after a day or two – smelling slightly of lettuce, and with a very strange story to tell!
