Job Description

The Site Planning product team is part of Manufacturing Technology which supports our current 5 and 2 futures LEGO factories. As a team we develop, operate and support our SAP based production planning solution and integration to a 3rd party scheduling tool as well as other software solutions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Crafting, describing, building, testing and implement new features for Site Planning (Production planning and shop floor scheduling).
  • Supporting and encouraging end-users by finding the best digital solutions for their problem.
  • Participate in business projects where Site Planning solutions are involved or impacted.
  • Work closely with other specialists in the product team to develop and code robust and high-quality software and strong – loosely coupled - integration of software solutions.
  • Ensure documentation, test cases etc for new developments.

Do you have the determination?

  • 3-5 years experience within ABAP development in an SAP environment.
  • Knowledge and curiosity about full problem scope, including software development both inside and outside SAP.
  • A background in API development, both sync (e.g. odata) and async (using Pulsar)
  • Experience in integration into SAP S4 HANA. Our ERP solution is scheduled to migrate to S4 HANA within the next few years.
  • Somewhat expert in end-user contact and teamwork i.e. also willing to take ownership for process and functionality.
  • Willing to travel abroad and to Billund about 6-10 times per year.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience from a manufacturing environment/building software for a manufacturing business.
  • Experience with automated testing (within SAP).
  • A curios mind and a quick learner.
