Job Description
Come lead a ground-breaking journey in the world of engineering! The LEGO Group is seeking a visionary Sr. Program Manager to spearhead digital initiatives that will redefine how our products are engineered and matured. This pivotal role will drive innovation, using pioneering technology to enhance decision-making and streamline processes across our engineering value chain.
Core Responsibilities
Drive a strategic portfolio of digital initiatives to transform how products (elements and moulds) are engineered and matured. Collaborate closely with digital product owners and leadership to identify and prioritize business needs, translating them into implemented solutions. The main focus areas include:
- Stronger engineering data foundation from implementation of good data governance practices in alignment with LEGO Data Strategy.
- Solutions providing contextual data to enable improved data driven decision-making, such as smart data views and AI-driven design recommendations.
- End-to-end communication platform to ensure traceability and transparency of design rationales, documenting how final designs are arrived at from product requirements.
- Solutions to trigger and automatically activate steps in the engineering value chain processes.
Advocate and facilitate the Digital transition change journey by:
- Deliver clear direction setting and prioritization to the E&ME organization in alignment with its digitalization strategy.
- Inspire and spot digitalization opportunities in the E&ME value chain based on data, processes, and exploration together with Specialists and Managers.
- Align and clarify the interfaces for execution of the Digital roadmap across the wider organization (E&Q). Be the link to other strategic Digital initiatives in The LEGO Group.
- Form bridge between the engineering organization’s digital business needs and the Digital Technology organization, which is an important enabler for development and implementation of new solutions.
- Ensure implementation of prioritized Digital initiatives by providing technical leadership to an E&ME core Digital Team.

E&ME has an extensive focus on using the possibilities within digitalization to support the overall Digital Strategy within The LEGO Group. This new role supports the digitalization journey in the Development phase within Elements & Moulds Engineering. Digitalization will challenge our current processes and ways of working to improve our ability to deliver high quality moulds for current and future industrialization. Digitalization will also enable lead time and cost reductions for the entire Engineering value chain!
Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate has proven experience with implementation of digital solutions in a product engineering context, working with integrated product development processes or systems engineering. They come with a strong end-to-end business understanding and ability to build value cases for digital initiatives, preferably from an engineer-to-order or make-to-order company.
Moreover, they have:
- Ability to communicate business requirements to digital product team(s).
- Strong communication and collaborator management skills across all levels in a global organization.
- A phenomenal teammate with a strong strategic and proactive approach, who thrives in a fast-moving, global environment.
- Advanced-level analytical skills capable of solving complex problems in a heavily interconnected ecosystem.
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
