We are thrilled to be hiring a Senior Manager, Paid Social Activation- (Retail) expert to join our new Global Media Activation team to help impact our marketing direction by being responsible for the charge in delivering data-driven, high-impact digital media campaigns that connect the LEGO Group with millions of customers.
This role combines critical thinking, cross-functional leadership, and deep platform expertise to help build our media approach in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

Core Responsibilities
- Media Strategy & Vision – Drive and Implement the LEGO Group’s Market group paid social strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business objectives across channels and other teams. Including fostering a data-driven, consumer-centric approach to media planning and buying that drives both long-term brand equity and short-term performance.
- Build, lead, and encourage a high-performing paid social team, while mentoring local teams on standard methodologies, innovation, and executional excellence. This includes promoting a culture of teamwork, experimentation, and continuous learning.
- Investment Stewardship & Governance - Establish ensure global standard are followed and met in your market group, delivering the strongest return the for the LEGO Groups
- Stakeholder & Executive Influence - Serve as the market group subject matter expert for paid social, engaging with executive leadership, BU HoM, and external partners to drive alignment and advocacy.
- Innovation, Tech & Ecosystem Strategy - Stay at the forefront of Performance campaigns, industry trends, technologies, and platforms (e.g., AI, retail media, cookie deprecation) to future-proof our digital media strategy.
- Oversee Campaign Performance Monitor the media trading team’s pacing, performance, and campaign health, collaborating with analytics teams on reporting and performance storytelling for optimizations and insights.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience in digital and paid social, along with experience in a leadership role at a top-tier brand, tech company, or agency.
- Shown success leading media transformation, digital innovation, or data-driven marketing at scale.
- Deep knowledge of the global media landscape, ad tech ecosystem, and evolving privacy/regulatory environment.
- Proven experience managing paid social campaigns across major platforms, including YouTube, Meta, and TikTok.
- Strong background in digital media planning or account management, with some hands-on campaign activation experience.
- Proficient in budget allocation, platform strategy, and planning across multiple channels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable media plans.
- Passion for building inclusive teams, developing talent, and promoting a high-performance culture.
- A dedication to purposeful, ethical marketing in line with the LEGO Group’s values and mission.
