Join LEGO Design as a Senior Communications Manager and lead the development and implementation of the LEGO Design communication and engagement strategy. Core Responsibilities  

  • Design, develop, and implement LEGO Design communication and engagement strategy to improve employee engagement and organizational health, support business priorities, and enable the LEGO Design organization to thrive. 

  • Play a leading role in evolving the LEGO Design communication channels, formats, content, and digital employee experience in partnership with Head of LEGO Design & Innovation Excellence, Design LT and other collaborators across the LEGO Groups 

  • Collaborate with the Senior External Communication Manager to ensure alignment and consistency between internal realities and external representations  

  • Recommend, create, and implement communication plans, programs, objectives, and tools across LEGO Design organization to streamline communication and build a strong LEGO Design presence across the LEGO Group as well as within LEGO Design Department. 

  • Translate The LEGO Group’s and LEGO Design’s value and culture into relevant, impactful, and engaging stories, content, and formats tailored to the right moments, audiences, and channels. 

  • Participate in cross-functional LEGO Design leadership strategy meetings and reviews to provide context to annual and longer-range communication and engagement objectives, strategies, and related tactics. 

  • Act as trusted adviser to senior level execs in LEGO Design to help them and their leaders to communicate and engage with the organization in a meaningful, relevant, and motivating way.

It is part of a high-performing and diverse team which focuses on doing great quality work, innovating, learning, and keeping the LEGO Design team world-class! The role reports to Head of LEGO Design & Innovation Excellence.  

Do you have what it takes? 

  • A communications expert with experience working in diverse, global companies with a track record of creating and leading creative organizational communications campaigns and events. 

  • An exceptional communicator and storyteller - both written and spoken - able to inspire and engage business leaders and colleagues. 

  • Skilled strategic problem solver with strong partner management capabilities, able to analyze needs and objectives to set the direction for communication.  

  • Possesses a deep understanding of strategic internal communications and digital channels, including social intranets, digital tools, email newsletters, and video messaging  

  • In-depth understanding of the creative process, storytelling, branding and identity, development of ideas, and communication methods. 

  • Experience delivering creative, engaging, and innovative communication plans, campaigns and content that achieve interested parties’ objectives and land in the business in the right way, at the right time. 

  • Could come with a background in communications, Journalism, English, or Marketing/Public Relations.
