Core Responsibilities

The Moderation product is serving multiple consumer & shopper facing experiences by utilizing both AI and manual moderation solutions.  It plays an essential role in our fast-growing adults and kids communities, also in a broader space where various user inputs require to be moderated e.g. retail/LEGO.com,  mini-figure factory in our physical stores.  In current solution, we utilize some top solution providers in the industry, also have our home-baked AI model, to further explore large language model & gen-AI tech overall. 

  • As a lead developer, you provide technical direction and establish solid tech foundation, practice, and quality metrics for this area.  

  • Actively contribute to our codebase and are expected to participate in multiple technical activities from backend, data engineering, DevOp, to data science.  

  • Lead a full feature product team, following modern engineer practice and disciplines, working closely with product manager to ensure the solution meet the ideal value outcome. 

  • Evolve tech architecture with a consistent focus on non-functional requirement and are able to encourage the team to take ownership of architecture decision, continuously improving operational efficiency via. automation, applying a “you build it – you run it” philosophy. 

  • Technologies we currently using is based on Python, AWS RDS aurora PostgreSQL, ML flow, and Databricks, AWS CDK, CI/CD. 

  • Within a fast-changing privacy and legal compliance landscape, you ensure our solution strive to meet those requirements.  

At cross audience technology, all our solutions serve as foundational enabler /ecosystem components to a broad spectrum of experiences cross the LEGO group.  You will be part of this dept. LT to help co-build a strong engineering culture with emphasis on collaboration, ownership and value, quality driven software development. 

Do you have what it takes

  • 8+ years of experience in back-end/full-stack software development using high-level programming languages.

  • 2+ years of experience with architecting and operating high-performance serverless solutions in the cloud, preferably on AWS.  

  • Experience with relational databases. 

  • Understanding and passion working with data engineering/data science is a plus
