LEGO® Star Wars™ Space Saving Display Ideas

    LEGO® Star Wars™ Space-Saving Display Ideas

Finding shelf space to celebrate your favorite Star Wars characters and vehicles can be tricky to master, but the LEGO® Star Wars™ range includes many display-worthy sets to suit smaller star systems…

LEGO Star Wars offers an incredible variety of sets that celebrate the iconic vehicles and beloved characters throughout the legendary saga. With larger-than-life sets, such as those in the Ultimate Collector Series, they tend to require a hefty, dedicated shelf space to showcase them effectively.

But do not fear – there are plenty of equally awesome sets available for more compact displays! In fact, there are entire collections designed specifically for this scenario, packing maximum impact! So, without further ado, Jedi – let’s explore them…

    Helmet Collection

Just a whisper of the infamous Darth Vader or Boba Fett, and you can envision their iconic helmets. Battle of Yavin? Luke Skywalker’s helmet. A shining slither of silver? Din Djarin’s Mandalorian helmet. All of which (and many more) have inspired the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection.

Beyond their outstanding level of detail and creative building experiences, these helmets are pretty compact in all dimensions. The advantage? They fit in just about any display space you like!

Placing some on risers to vary their heights can be effective, although Imperial designs like the TIE Fighter Pilot Helmet (75274), Stormtrooper Helmet (75276) and Scout Trooper Helmet (75305) might look better in a uniform row, in accordance with the exacting standards of the Galactic Empire, that is.

With the arrival of the Jango Fett Helmet (75408), the AT-AT Driver Helmet (75429) and the Kylo Ren Helmet (75415) there’s even more notable characters joining the series.

    Character Collection

Ever wanted a mini version of your favorite Star Wars characters?

Enter BrickHeadz™! A more cost-effective way to display tiny but mighty groups of characters, such as the heroes and villains of the first Prequel Trilogy movie in The Phantom Menace™ (40676), which includes the likes of Queen Amidala, Jar Jar Binks and Darth Maul.

Or is there one character that truly holds a special place? In this case, you could dedicate a space to that specific character – giving them all the glory.

Commander Cody is a great example, as Clone Commander Cody Helmet (75350) and the LEGO BrickHeadz Clone Commander Cody (40675) are wonderful companions on display. Perhaps you could add Cody’s minifigure from the AT-TE Walker (75337) to complete the trio?

Larger-scale brick-built figures are also available and still of manageable size. Fans of droids have a wide selection to choose from, including the one and only R2-D2 (75379) and C-3PO (75398), as well as the menacing Droideka (75381).

These highly detailed characters are not limited to droids, though. Grogu with Hover Pram (75403) was launched in January and has huge impact on display, without needing much space. Result! This set is also another perfect example of why mixing sets works seamlessly – pair it with The Mandalorian Helmet (75328) to showcase this awesome duo together.

    Starship Collection

Han Solo and Chewbacca are legends, but their ship, the Millennium Falcon, is a match for them both! One of the greatest starships to glide through the galaxy, and like many other standout vehicles of the saga, these starships are truly a sight to behold.

And so, the Starship Collection was born! Launching in 2023, these vehicles celebrate just how fly they are, without needing to accommodate titans like the 7541-piece Millennium Falcon (75192) – as fun as it is!

Although the LEGO Star Wars range is on a smaller scale, they look stunning when displayed together in all their magnificent different shapes and sizes.

Inside this collection lies the exceptionally detailed Millennium Falcon (75375) and some of the galaxy’s mightiest capital ships. Executor Super Star Destroyer (75356) and Home One Starcruiser (75405) are ideal companions on display, as the Imperial and Rebel flagships at Endor.

To top it all off, each set is presented on its own display stand, creating a sharp and unified look, with definite similarities of the Ultimate Collector Series models, albeit giving more space for multiple sets and being pocket-friendly!

Why not add a bit of realism to your builds by making a starry background for an extra dose of galactic style?

It’s time to move beyond the vision of great big museum-style display cases and prove that even a single shelf can become a striking LEGO Star Wars display, worthy of the most iconic helmets, characters and starships this galaxy (and beyond) has ever seen.
