- February 22nd, 2021Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Pretty, but flawedI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfGreat looking set, and a very nice AT-ST model to add to the collection. Build is really detailed, though the overuse of stickers can be a bit annoying. The minifigs are also great, however I do wish the Mando fig came with his actual head as opposed to the black silhouette version, though I do understand why it is that way. Only drawback to the set is, as others have mentioned, part 179. The parts of the gun for the AT-ST don’t actually fit, which is very, very strange for Lego as they’re usually on point with this stuff. All in all a great set for any Star Wars fans out there, and a nice addition to the AT-ST line.Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 4 hrsBuilding Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?45AT-ST™ Raider
- February 3rd, 2021Average rating3out of 5 stars3.0Disappointing - piece didn't fit!Purchased for: SonI, like many others who have reviewed this set, had the same issue with step 179. The guns didn't fit!! This is so unlike Lego. My son was so upset, he spent ages putting this set together. Thanks to one of the other reviews, we found two pieces (3062B) to attach the mismatched pieces. Disaster averted for now but shocking that this came to happen with Lego. Usually so reliable!5 February 2021Jon, Customer ServiceWe're sorry to hear you experienced problems when building this set. - December 28th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Great mod for this cool setI would recommend this to a friend!First let me say, I did not experience the issue with part 179 that some had, my guns fit perfectly. Small issue and I am sure LEGO will give you replacements if there is an issue. Second, there is a cheap mod for this that can be done with simply three pieces and moving one that completely makes this set. In short, attach two dark grey 1x2 flat bricks and 1 red light brick added to the top hatch after re(moving) the round disc plate from underneath. Attaching the light brick so it makes contact with the "L" shaped brick inside, and the two 1x2 bricks help stop light bleed, and you now have a Mandalorian AT-ST where you can close the hatch and get the at cool night glow of the red. Mod will cost you maybe $2 USD and makes the set come alive! See photos for parts and placement; note that you may want to get about 8 more grey 1x2 and place them around inside to close it up a bit more and stop red light bleed.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55AT-ST™ Raider
- November 18th, 2020Average rating2out of 5 stars2.0Upgraded pieces don't fitBigYan |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SonThere is a piece that has been redesigned that no longer works for the set. The piece is in step 179 in the instructions and holds the barrels of the side cannons. Older versions of the piece work fine, but it appears that a redesign has made this piece not function properly for the set. The barrel of the side cannon no longer fits inside the holes of the redesigned piece. The picture on the box and the pictures in the instruction show the older version, but the set came with the newer version that no longer fits. This is an uncharacteristic change that Lego has made.
