This is a nice little battle pack.
Things I like:
* Speeder is solidly built.
* Minifigures have great printing with excellent detail.
Things I didn't like:
* All of the trooper heads look the same... would have been nice to have some variety.
* Jet trooper to regular trooper ratio is a bit odd. Would have preferred two regular troopers and one jet trooper.
* Would have preferred standard blasters to stud shooters.
Overall, this is a decent battle pack. I agree with some of the other reviewers that it should have included at least one more trooper. I would have preferred three troopers and one jet-pack trooper and ditch the officer. The little speeder is actually neat. I modified it a little and I like the colour scheme. My biggest gripe with this set is the inclusion of the stud shooters. I wish Lego would please, please stop providing these useless things. In larger sets we get proper blasters, so why not in the battle packs? Speaking for myself, I'm willing to pay a few extra dollars to get proper blasters. Luckily, I keep many extra blasters on hand and have replaced them.
As unfortunate as it is, this battle pack could have been better. What I do like about this set is the detail of the figures. Excellent prints and details as usual from LEGO and that is pretty much the only good thing I can say about this. But the parts from the side build do seem useful. The main issue with this is the figure distribution. Why are there two jetpack troopers and one standard trooper? This should have been the other way around and it makes no sense to have a two in one ratio of jet troopers to the standard trooper. I kind of don't mind the officer, however, it would be best for LEGO to replace the officer with a trooper or such. Overall, could have been a great battle pack like the Mandalorian battle pack.
This set was for my 4 year old son who is just getting into Star Wars, he loves it!! BUT for the adults out there who are getting this set for their Star Wars displays the helmets on the sith jet troopers do NOT stay on for some reason. You hear the click sound but then literally the slightest touch loosens the helmet and knocks it off. It’s really, really annoying even for me and my son got frustrated as well. It’s a shame because I absolutely love the red color on the troopers and the regular red troopers helmet stays on him, it’s odd that it only happens to the jet pack troopers.
And to those adults who want regular blasters instead of stud shooters I think kids like my son would be very disappointed, these inexpensive packs I feel like are mostly for kids as to why lego uses the stud shooters in these packs.
