I would recommend this to a friend!
This build is amazing! First off, for the price and pieces, amazing value. Let’s not stop there. The detail is insane and if you grew up with Home Alone being a staple of your life (I remember when it came out and saw at theatres) you need to be all in your feels and purchase. This set took about 8 hours to do and worth every minute - we did a time lapse too. The box and instruction book is intimidating, but take it bag by bag. My boys were shocked, for even the Daily Bugle didn’t have this many bags. The booby traps are great - the fact Marv has an iron burn on his face is everything. Red door knob, laundry shoot works, even the treehouse is perfect - it works and the angle is perfection for the mini figures land perfectly. The plane tickets are in the trash. The fact this display opens up and you can see inside, is outstanding. Just purchase this set before you miss out and enjoy it. Turn in Home Alone and build away! I purchased the home alone set from a lego store near me on the release date of November 1st. The price of the set is amazing, as they could have easily charged $300 for the piece count just shy of 4000 pieces. I had a lot of fun building the house with my sister and seeing all the rooms and details come together. There was never a time that felt repetitive or boring. There was also no parts that felt too challenging. The figures and bonus builds (the van and treehouse) are also a great addition. The entire experience was really good. It took about 8 or so fun filled hours to build. Would recommend to anyone that is a fan of home alone, or even of lego buildings.Was this helpful?

The set is awesome point blank. It has many many MANY hidden details and awesome Easter eggs in this set.
