The key feature of the set was missing: angular wings. This set addresses that immediately. The engineering used to get this mechanic to work is oddly satisfying. The only issue is that the wings are always at the mercy of gravity when angled outwards. I wish there was a built in function that prevents this such as the mechanism in the Tie Striker from 2016 (75154). Other than that, the minifigures are superb, the build is satisfying, and the play-ability is bar-none. 4/5 because of annoying gravity problem with wings.Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 3 hrs 15 minsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Kylo Ren's Shuttle™

Decent size and an excellent selection of minifigures. The wings can extend for flight. The mechanism used is simple and effective. The inside of the cockpit has space for 3 minifigures. There is no additional interior space. You cannot see the minifigures from the cockpit but the transparent red bricks are a nice touch to the look of the design. There is even a small boarding ramp that can be deployed. It is unusable but this is a nice touch. This set doesn’t have any stickers which I always enjoy. The color change from the 2015 set is nice to see and overall this model is closer to the movie version.Play Experience4.0Value for Money3.0Building Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Kylo Ren's Shuttle™

I was pleased with the mini figures, general pride and the knights of ren were what I enjoyed seeing the most. It has great playability with the foldable wings. I’m disappointed that the set didn’t contain a hair piece for Kylo Ren despite him having two expressions under his helmet. The fabrics of the capes was also rough and unpleasant. I did enjoy building the set and it filled my afternoon. I don’t think the 10+ age recommendation is correct as I could definitely see a 10 year old struggling with a set that contains so many features (especially the wings)Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 3 hrs 25 minsBuilding Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Kylo Ren's Shuttle™
- February 28th, 2020Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Kylo Ren's ShuttleI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfIt's a pretty big set. The wings are better then the first Command Shuttle and more flexible. The Kylo Den figure looks cool with the red cracks. Mine came with the angry side of his face uneven. The knights of ren figures are my favorite. The weapons are long but they look nice. The sith trooper looks nice with his red armor and unique blaster. The General Pryde figure and regular trooper are ok. The ship only fits 3 figures. The back part of the ship doesn't hold any figures because it has the spring that moves the wings. Overall it's a good ship and a fun build.Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money3.0Build Time: 4 hrsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Kylo Ren's Shuttle™
