- July 10th, 2019Average rating3out of 5 stars3.0Short of Bricks, Bricks, BricksPurchased for: SelfWith a tag line of Bricks, Bricks, Bricks I was also hoping for something a bit closer to 2008's 6177 without having to scrutinize the contents first to check the appropriateness of the tag. Queen Watevra's Box 70825-1 is probably a better fit to the claim. That aside the 1500 parts makes for a good selection for creativity and makes the £50 feel like a fair price on the face of it. However you may well be disappointed when you open the box and find it isn't as flowing with 2x4 bricks as you'd hope. Not to be too negative the parts within helps update the collection for someone returning to Lego some years after childhood.16 July 2019Emily, Customer ServiceThanks for your review; we always appreciate the feedback! While this set does focus on traditional LEGO® bricks, we did want to include at least some of our other types of pieces. That way builders can make a variety of different things - whatever their imaginations dream up! If you need a hand finding just bricks, give our Customer Service team a shout at LEGO.build/Service. They'd be happy to point the way.Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty1.0Value for Money3.0Building Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?35Bricks Bricks Bricks

Response from LEGO SHOP17 January 2019Emily, Customer ServiceThanks for your review. We're sorry you didn't enjoy the set. We designed this one with bricks as the stars of the show, but we always like to include a good variety of pieces, that way builders can make whatever their imaginations dream up. We also always try really hard to make sure that we're clear about what each set includes, which is why most of our Classic theme sets include a list of the parts right on the packaging. If you're ever wondering about the parts included in a set, you can also check out the digital version of the building instructions. You'll find them available to download at LEGO.com/Service. All our instructions include a parts list in the last few pages.Play Experience1.0Level of Difficulty1.0Value for Money1.0Building Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?15Bricks Bricks Bricks
- August 6th, 2019Average rating1out of 5 stars1.0All small tiny piecesPurchased for: GrandsonI found as an added set that all you get in this set is small pieces. If this was a first set for my grand child, he would have trouble making a large project as there were too many small little pieces and hardly no bricks to make something. VERY disappointed in set
Response from LEGO SHOP9 August 2019Emily, Customer ServiceWe're sorry this set wasn't quite the right fit for your grandson. While bricks are the focus of this set, we also wanted to add other types of pieces, that way it's easier for builders to create anything their imagination might dream up. We also always try really hard to make sure that we're clear about what each set includes, which is why most of our Classic theme sets include a list of the parts right on the packaging. - December 28th, 2020Average rating2out of 5 stars2.0Where are all the bricks?TMarie |'Bricks bricks bricks" is misleading. We already had Lego sets with a million teeny pieces and while those are fun, I was looking for JUST bricks for my younger kids for building houses and whatnot. Disappointed when we opened it and found that most of the pieces are small odd-shaped specialty pieces that younger kids can't use for building structures. Really shouldn't be called a brick set. Wish Lego offered one in this price range. Was this helpful?25Bricks Bricks Bricks
