Penguin Pathway Adventure

The Build, Solve, Invent play loop makes its way down, down, down to the icy plains of Antarctica!

This experiment is one of several that can be found inside the LEGO® Education Antarctic Animals Science Kit.
And it’s by far the most penguiny. (Is that a word?)

You’ll be helping our flippy friends get to the water and learning why this method of transportation helps them survive in the harsh Antarctic climate.

And you’ll be doing it with the help of the Build, Solve, Invent play loop!

    Step 1: Build

Open up the building instructions and the bag of bricks, then get to work building a couple of penguins and a nice big slope to the water.
All plain sailing so far… Wait, did TJ Bricky mean to build those holes in that slope?

    Step 2: Solve

He sure did! Just like every experiment in the new LEGO Education sets, this one comes with a problem that needs solving.

And you solve them by using the bag of bricks we provide, just like TJ Bricky managed to do! (You can also use any other bricks you find around the house, if you like!)

    Step 3: Invent

With the problem solved, it’s time for the storytelling to truly begin.
Can you invent an entirely new design for a boat during the Invent phase? Our researcher needs it to get close enough to the penguins to study them.

Once you’ve made one, only one question remains… What will you build on this Antarctic mission next?
